Family Fun Fair

So everyone is posting pictures from the family fun fair so I thought I would post some. I was busy serving hotdogs most of the night so daughter 2 took the photos for me.

We are so lucky to live in such a great stake. I know this was a lot of work for Charlet and all those who put it on but you did a great job. Thank you so much!

First day of school

Okay, here it is, the first day of school. For us though it is actually the 2nd, first day of school (and we have another first day next week).

Anyway, here are my 2 high schoolers and a middle schooler. They wouldn't admit it but I think They were pretty excited.







PS We even got school shopping done a couple of days before they had to go!!

Mini Star Album

Here is a kit I have put together for the store. It should have been a class but ended up as a kit instead. Enjoy

Mini Star Album
Supplies Needed: A Pencil
Scissors
Liquid Adhesive (I like Zip Dry Glue or Scrappy Glue)
Rub on Tool

Basic Directions: Start by Tracing the Star chipboard on each piece of 6x6 printed paper or card stock. Cut out each one. Following the photos for placement, use Liquid Adhesive to adhere paper to chipboard ( a glue stick will not work!). A couple of the Stars will need to be cut in half .
Decorate with embellishments, Arrows and rub ons. (Tip: you may want to add your photos before adding the rub ons , they are meant to be seen over the pictures).

Finish by placing all the pages back on the chain.

I entered a Creating Keepsakes contest a while back. I didn't win, in fact I think I got disqualified before I even got started because I didn't submit them right. Oh well live and learn right?

Enjoying Scentsy

I just got my Scentsy order and I love it. Right now my house smells like Sunkissed Citrus! (and my car too, I got the candle and the room spray also.)

My Sister, Katie is now a demonstrator. So to help her out a little I will be hosting a party this coming Tuesday. Everyone is invited, bring your friends and I will have yummy treats. (Chocolate.) I havent' done a party of any kind in so long, this should be fun.

Just Working

Sometimes, every once in a while, I get to play at work. Here are a few displays and things that I have done over the last few weeks. Most of them are either on the blog now, with instructions, or will be soon. Nothing to fancy but I thought I would share.

Activity Days

I can't believe how fast time flies. I swear I just posted a couple of days ago but I guess not. I thought I would have more time now that I was released but so far that hasn't happened either. I am going to try to do better.

Anyway. Tonight was my first Activity Days meeting. We had 6 of the 8 girls show up. I hope they had fun. We just visited and played a couple of get to know you games. I know it is going to take a lot to win the girls over. They so loved Jen. But I am very excited and I hope the girls are too.
