No Photos this time

Sorry no photos this time. It has been a very fun week at work. Lots to do and put together for the open house last week. I made close to 15 different displays, make and takes and stuff for a class. I will post photos sometime next week.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

A Baby Book for Work

I can't take all the credit for this one. It was started by an employee who left and I found the parts and pieces in a box and decided to finish it. It worked up pretty fast (she had done all the cutting already- I just put it together.) It almost makes me wish I had another baby to make one for...almost.
The chipboard album and peices are from a kit by Fancy Pants. The printed paper is by Cloud 9. I love these accordian albums. I have a couple from Close to My Heart that I am working on. I will post those when they are done.

More Displays for work

This Layout was done using Stitching from Bazzill. It took a while but was a lot of fun.

These next two are made using paper and Rub ons from Sassafrass and Thickers from American Craft. I made the layout first and then the card (4 x 4) using left over scraps of paper and Thickers (Thickers are Stickers made from foam, they are so fun!)

This last one is an album I just did using the new Clear Albums. All product was Rusty Pickle except for the Card Stock (Bazzill). The Picture doesn't show the album all that well so you will just have to come into the store to see it. These Clear Albums are all the rage and they work up so cute. You should try one (or two or ...)

A page for my Grandma's book

For Christmas my mom put an album together for my grandma. This is one of the pages that I did. The paper is My Minds Eye, the ribbon and embellishments are Close to my heart and the Rub ons I am not sure about. I love Rub ons; I think they are my new favorite.

More Pictures, this time showing details

For this layout I used paper from Close to My heart and My Minds eye. I also used both my Silhouette (to cut out the title) and my Cricut (to cut out the circles) I then added ribbon to the circles. This really went together quickly.

To draw attention to my daughter and her ornament, I drew a circle around her using a circle template. I then added little drops of glitter glue (Stickles, by Ranger Inks.) It looks like the glitter brads but is a lot less expensive.

On this page I used my new Quickutz, Squeeze tool. It was a lot of fun to make these little Santas and Reindeer. For the Letter, I cut out a J from chipboard and then from pattern paper . This was so easy

. I have never done a flip page before. This was a fun way to add extra photos to my layout. I also used my new Silhouette to cut out the title.
This was a lot of fun to do. My Husband says I have to many toys but as you can see I use all of them so its okay!

Pictures form My Christmas Album

So while I was off work for almost a full week, I spent a lot of time working on a Christmas Album. The photos are from 2003 (you could say I am a little behind). I haven't done an 8 1/2 x 11 album in a long time so it was a lot of fun. I kept things very simple so I could get a lot done in a little time. Here are some of the pages. I hope you enjoy them.

Happy New years

Can you believe Christmas has come and gone already? Today I took my tree down. That always makes me a little sad but I have to admit it is nice to have my house back again. We even cleaned the carpets so everything is nice and clean. Its like a new start. I hope everyone has enjoyed your Holidays.
