Slow Down--Please

Can you believe it? February is almost over.  I swear it was New Years Eve two days ago.  How does this happen?  As I look over everything we have done this past month I guess I can see that it just happens.  Here is a recap of a few things:

A birthday and time visiting with Family.

Activity Days- making scripture cookies this time (have I mentioned I have the best calling ever!!)

Finishing up another season of Basket Ball.  (their team didn't do to well but he loved every minute of it- and its great when you can share it with a good friend.)

Science fair projects. (can you taste the difference if you don't know what it is?)

A Court of Honor. (Hubby did part of the Flag Ceremony and Only Son got his Star.)

Youth Dances and hanging out with best friends.

Homework, along with school performances, High school registration and Play try-outs (D4 made the lead in the spring play at Brockbank.)

And of course, a holiday.

Its hard to believe that last month I was complaining that I had to sit on the couch and do nothing while everyone was going, going, going.  I guess if I had to choose I would choose to be busy instead of sitting, but some times I just want to say "slow down- please-for just a minute!"

Sweethearts Dance

We had a great Valentine/President's Day/Long weekend.  D2 was home and we just had a lot of fun.  Of course Friday night was the stake adult valentine dance.  I forgot my camera but trust me, we had a lot of fun.  I was glad both D1&2 were there.  We danced up a storm.  (well mostly they did and I gave it a good try.)  Anyway we really had fun, and of course dancing with my hubby is always super special.

Saturday was the Cyprus' Sweetheart Dance.  The Juniors were in charge so that ment D3 was very busy with decorating and all of that.   Here is kind of how the night went. (lots of photos sorry!)
First, we started with the basics, music and make-up

Then we got the whole team working.

(don't we work well together?)

She looked so beautiful.

Her date.

D1 helped me put together a nice dinner for them.

Yumm!

The whole group (all 10 of them) in our little house.

She had so much fun and I must admit, I did too.  I am so glad my girls will share moments like this with me.

And Last but not least, a big bear hug from her daddy.

What  was it she asked for?  Littlest Pet Shop....

She even got that, ten fold.

Auuugh and a warning

It is suppose to happen to others. I am so careful on the computer, really I am. Yesterday, I got one of the WORSE computer viruses EVER!

I was just checking my email when a warning popped up saying my computer had been infected and I needed to “buy” this Anti virus program. Before I did anything I ran an AVG scan, it said everything was fine. So I closed the warning and went on my way. Soon, I couldn’t go anywhere without this warning popping up. I logged off my computer and rebooted. There was an Icon on my desk top for this “Personal Security” AUGH! When I tried to delete it, the whole system froze!

To make a long story short, it took us HOURS to get rid of this stupid thing, and the only way we did was by looking up the “security” on D1’s computer and following instructions to get it off. It was so frustrating. I am still not sure where I picked up this virus but I thought I would share my experience in case it happens to any of you.

So if you get a security pop up, DO NOT OPEN IT, unless you know for sure where it came from. This looked very official like it came from Microsoft or windows. It will not show up with a manufactures name and it will not let you delete it. (We had to download Malware and do a bunch of things). Also do not buy the security system that it tells you it needs. It is a scam and a way to get your CC#. Finally you will have to change ALL of your passwords.

I hope none of you have to deal with this. It was such a pain. Thankfully my computer is up and running like new today and I didn’t lose anything. I just thought I would warn you.
