New Classes and a long week

Last week was a long week. I worked 12 to 14 hour days almost everyday.

I hope this week goes a little better. (I say that every week... Sometime it will be true.)

Friday I spent a good part of the day with my mom and sister at the scrapbook expo. We didn't get a lot done but it was fun to just relax and visit.

Here are a couple of classes I will be doing this quarter

The Give Thanks class sold out at both stores the first night we offered it. So it looks like I will be doing two more classes for it. I also had a lady call and order 40 kits for a Super Saturday.

This class is not full yet but looks like it could be soon. After having to cancel a few classes last quarter its a good sign.

The best thing I did all week was attend the Youth Fireside on Sunday night. The speakers talked about some of thier experiences on a 3 month trek. The sister inspired me. She talked a little about finding perfection in this life by setting aside all those things we think we should be doing and focusing on those things we know we should do. I can't express it the way she did but I was lifted up. It was the boost I had been needing. I am so glad that the stake invited the parents to attend. It was just what I needed.

For those who have asked, D1 is doing well at college. She has been called to serve as the HFPE leader in her singles ward. She loves her roommates and her classes. I text her almost daily (I can't believe how much I miss her!) She loves college and we are happy for her.

I hope everyone has a great week!

I loved the part on Sunday when she said that we don't realize how close we are to Him, until you are out in the quiet. I would love the opportulity to go on a trek, just for that reason.

I adore the "Give Thanks." Hmmmm, I wonder how our Super Saturday is coming along. Maybe they need a new idea . . .
